1 month already
Wow.. in the twinkling of an eye, i've been in Christchurch for a month already.
Several things have happened, and for the most part, truly my theme verse for New Zealand has been coming true. It has been useful and comforting to me in almost all aspects of my life: from choosing what to do on weekends when I have a dilemma (such as tomorrow, when I hafta choose between going to Akaroa to see scenery and going to the Singapore Club bbq), or when stuff happens around me that I can't understand.
Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the Lord has been good to you.

Psalm 116:7
I must say, it's been a truly awesome time so far.
I've gone to the beach 3 weekends in a row, all three time I visited New Brighton. I've also been to Southshore and Sumner (which I went alone).
I've watched 2 arthouse movies that kicked-ass: Tsotsi as well as Live & Become. Live & Become wasn't as touching as Tsotsi, but it was still awesome.
I've went to New Brighton early in the morning to watch the sunrise.
Visited Riccarton Racecourse Sunday market.
Participated in the Student Fee Hike Protest.
Participated in the Do You Agree With Jeremy? campaign.
Visiting Akaroa this weekend and taking the TranzAlpine next week.
I've bought fudge, pillows, handmade chocolates for tigger.
I've brought HuiShan to buy bicycles at Armagh Street.
Best of all, is my sharing and prayer time with Tigger-Rebbie every night before we sleep.
Owell.. it's been a really nice month so far.. slow-paced.. people living their own lives. Weirdly, I haven't really missed home much so far tho..
Weeee! 4 more months to go!
