Looking back, I'm glad I decided to be with NUSHA and not the Nav exco. In many senses, I do believe that I'm much happier here than if I had decided to go with the Navs. Even though there are many things that don't look too rosy for NUSHA, like looking for a new exco, like our relationship with YC, like whether this club will survive beyond our term, yet I'm happy. I'm happy that in NUS i found a buncha frens that I love, a cause that I believe in and that I am given a chance to pursue.
As I was sharing with James just not too long ago, this club runs on passion. We don't get CCA points for what we do, we don't get anything to help us get accomodation in school, we're just a tiny interest group. But passion reallie sustains us and pushes us along. To do fundraising after fundraising, emails after emails. And of course, our 2 humanitarian trips so far. I hope that this same passion will burn on, and it will be passion that will teach our juniors what they need to do to keep the club going.
