Don't Waste Your Life

Life's a journey - don't forget to unpack.

Where it all meets

Perhaps then, it is at the cross of Christ that we find what we crave for most deeply in this world. Love and sacrifice, justice and mercy, faithfulness and grace. It is at the cross of Christ that all these meet, and if we dig deep enough into the core of our being, we will find that these are the things we will live and die for. - Me

To you, my reader. :)

There, look on me, so that you may not praise me beyond what I am; there, believe me, not others, about myself; there, attend to me and see what I have been in myself, through myself. - St Augustine

Food Makes Me Happy!

Food makes a lot of people happy, but honestly I haven't been so happy eating food for quite some time. This was good quality stuff! Or like Lide would say.. it's good shit. Besides the fact that my Dad was real happy we went out with him for his birthday dinner, the food itself was good enough to merit my happiness!

Warning: The following post may make my blog look like a food blog.

Mummy n Papa looking at the menu together

Lide explaining the different items on the menu

The couple pose again (1,2,3... awwww)

Unagi Tamago Roll (or something)

Lide's cha soba

Mum's yakiniku don

Papa's super shiok unagi don.. woohoo..

My ebi & yasai kakiage don. I regret ordering this actually, it's too damn oily.. and not very nice also..

Sashimi salad!

Woo! The delight of the day! The green one is called Dragon Roll, and the yellow one is Golden Roll. Both are obviously sushi, rolled up rice with KING PRAWN inside. You can even see the prawn head.. it's mega! And one is covered with beautiful creamy avocado, and the other with sweetish-sourish mango and topped with salmon roe. SHIOK!!!

Sitting around telling stupid jokes after dinner..

Dad laughing at one of Lide's jokes.

And yes. There are no pictures of me. I was busy eating and taking the photos.

Enjoy!

Hey, that's really nice. It's really a joy to enjoy good food with family, to sit back and tell jokes. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. Food really is such a wonderful thing isn't it? =)
