Days Like These
Yesterday was a great day, because it was spent with people I love. To be frank, I didn't do much at all yesterday, except be with people.
Morning was spent catching up with Edgar. Sharing briefly about what God has taught me in NZ, and then he shared with me about his time in India just before I left for SEP in July. I must say, seeing all that he shared really made me wanna go with him again this time, but cannot la. He's going to India the week after next, and I just came back from NZ. Another time k, bro?
Then we went briefly to NUS Central Library to find my very dear sister, JEE LEE!!!! Wow i tell ya. The joy in my heart when I saw her sitting at the table was just explosive. If it wasn't for the fact that we were in the library, I'd probably haf screamed out real loud 'JEE LEEEEEEEEEEEE!' We had a brief time of sharing, and although it was brief, it was really comfortable, and I must say, I really enjoyed it. Jee Lee, I really thank God for you u noe that? Miss u so much!
Thank God, at night it was one of the most wonderful night times I can recall in recent memory. I visited Wei Lin at her place, and we just spent the evening chatting away and I showed her some photos of NZ. Hearing her laugh her raucous (?) chuckle really put so much joy in my heart, it was really unexplainable. Even now when I recall that laughter it almost brings tears to my eyes. I dunno, perhaps it's just a desire in me to see my friends happy. Oh yes!!! Look what she made for me!!!!
Honeydew Sago!!! With Ice!!! Damn nice can!!! As I say, honeydew sago never tasted so sweet. I mean, what else could be nicer? It's like my fave sweet dessert can? (And for those who know me, I ain't much of a fan for sweet stuff) Weee!
Well, to be frank, we didn't really talk that much, except some photos showing here and there. And she showed me her little gifts that people have given her over the years.. and all e friendster of all e guys who've ever been after her... (woah!! a lot leh!!). The thing is, many of these guys never became friends, but I had the wonderful privilege of still being friends with her. As i reflected upon that on the walk home, it was just wonderful.
We didn't talk much, most of the time was just spent loving her in the way I know best. As in, I really don't really know of any other way to express my frienship and love to her. So, yearh.

Well, besides that, there was another highlight of yesterday. Through the notification of a friend of Jee Lee's, i found that one of my favourite bands was playing at Tan Tock Seng Hospital!! And also 2 full concerts tonight and tomorrow night!
Casting Crowns!!!! The band that sang Who Am I, Voice of Truth, If We Are The Body. I got a chance to watch them play live!!!!! Although it wasn't the full band, just 2 acoustic guitars and a violin, plus the lead singer, it was still pretty awesome!
Well, to round things off.. here goes!
Me and Pastor Mark Hall (the guy with the moustache, without the santa hat)
I don't know who e other guy is, but i think he plays e acoustic guitar.
To be able to have that friendship, God must love you so much. I'll kill to have what God has blessed you with. Cherish it.
