Today i had the most beautiful experience ever.
Was playing w my cute 4 year old niece at home.. and i was sitting there watching her play with my soccer ball.. she was just saying cute stuff and kicking the ball around.. and i just sat there watching her play.. with a huge grin on my face as to how beautiful she is..
All of a sudden, out of nowhere.. from 2 metres away.. she took 2 HUUGE strides and jumped straight into my arms. It really awed me how much she trusted that I would catch her and save her.. how she had no doubts about me accepting her into my arms. I'm so amazed..
I asked， ‘Aiyo.. Wei wei.. wat are u doing?'
And all she gave me was this HUGE grin on her face and a giggle.
She was right. She jumped straight into my arms without even warning me first. But yes, I did catch her.
Perhaps that's really what Jesus said when He mentioned about needing to be like little children to enter the Kingdom of God. We need to thrust ourselves totally into His arms.. jump in and totally trust that He'll catch us.. and that we need not fear that we will not be accepted into His arms.. This may sound cliched amongst many of us who are very old Christians.. but cliches are truths, and many times, we don't really believe and internalise these cliches until we experience it ourselves.. Like me.. :)
